Satsot Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 I guess I'm going to sound stupid but, back in the days, and I'm refering to waaaaaaaaaaay back in the days, not bh days(LoL), clans were rivals but they were also friends with eachother and I guess we could call it "healthy"(even though this is a virtual game) rivalry. That does not seem to be the story now. Also, why do people feel raped when FOE started to accept Turmoil? Going back to the real OLD days, overheads were forbidden and once they were "legalized" into Pure clans, you didn't seem people bitch moaning about it, switching clans, etc.

I still think that you aren't pure if you get defence on purpose, yet i don't flame any clans for accepting 30+ defence. This game is about having fun - not about being 1# or having a defence cap of 20.

gfdgfd Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 We try to have a healthy rivalry, but it makes it hard when MM trash talk us everytime they walk by us, while Walli is telling us to ignore it, their leader is probably tell them to taunt more, so yeah, pretty much it isnt us.

For my part, I will not be a FOE member again if the def cap is 30. That is my personal decision and has different reasons. But I'd prefer to use my glory teleports and safe my items and use everything in the game to my advantage than be in some clan that doesn't give to me what it once used to. Just in my personal opinion this is not real pure anymore. I accept if others think different. Also most likely the p2p run ins have ended in this clan which was the best. Or epic f2p wars.

Berniej Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Can't remember a time when Foe and MM weren't rivals. Even when I joined at end 2006 we'd sometimes get IRC spam flamed by clans. I just remember that MM and Foe were always being dicks against each other/.

Wanted our clan to be the best and there was only one clan at the time and yeah, gotta do what you gotta do.
