yeah I saw that, cuz I meant more with it then that.

you can be a dude who just trains and buffs up his body.

Or you can be good at a certain fighting style and then you shouldn't have to train lots of muscles to be a good fighter.

Actually getting a harder punch is about techniques and if anything muscles in your legs not your upper body :)

There's a show on the history channel about fighting and they explained the kinetic power behind bas ruttens punch. Its more to do with technique and shifting yourhips and using your body but muscles do add power

For the basics it works, don't wanna get pumped :p .

Was doing some self defence with the Specials and there a couple of pretty jacked peopel on the course.... and jesus chris, they are so shit at throwing a punch

They plant their feet square, don't rotate their hips, dont lift their heals, no shoulder movement, they just shoot their arms out and expect shit to happen.

Being stacked doesn't make you good at fighting, it assists you if you know how to fight, but strength alone won't win you a fight unless you are fighting a scrawny rat.

that's bullshit, training your muscles indeed doesn't mean you are good at fighting.

Training your fighting skills gets you a better fighter.

Muscles just make you punch easier, faster and harder.

I'd like to see any muscled up guy try to beat a kung-fu master that's halve his weight.

squats:

45* leg press

romanian deadlifts

and did another one just for the hell of it

I couldnt understand how to use the machines to finish the rest of my workout but i was completely burnt out from the dl and squats..

Does anyone mind telling me what the XXxXX stuff mean like 115x10

Like what this times that or what, sorry im kind of new and just starting out.
