|Roberto Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 recently when I do my squats in the middle of my second set I start to get a headache, any idea wtf is going on?
Jef|Ohh Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Could be because your holding the bar wrong which will block a spinal nerve. Also make sure your drinking enough water so you don't get dehydrated. Another thing that could cause this is that your not breathing correctly, DONT hold your breath when doing your squats. Inhale as you come down, exhale as you come up.
Tango_Oscar Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I used to get that because i used to hold my breath, Squats work so many muscle groups, and your muscles use so much oxygen, you need to make sure you get your air man!
Smush Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 When I first started squatting, everything hurt. My neck, my legs, my core, my breathing, etc. I think you just gotta break the cycle and you have to have GOOD form.
STR8GAS10aG Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 wear he pad thing on he bar if u need to so it doesn't fuck with ur neck to cause headaches
