Ancients a waste?

Tbh I prefer blitz over barrage, but there both really useful. I think anything before these 2 spells make ancients a waste. They can both do wonders :).

Ok. Me and some frnds went pking today with our newly bought zuriel staffs. So we are all excited and stuff and ready to own. We pked for 4 hours and got no kills. why? Almost everyone in pvp and bh are getting ep, 1 itemers, 26king, or nh.

whats the point of ancients unless u have a tber? we spent an hour of our time finding a tber. i can tb, but i tb everytime i go pking. i forgot what ancients felt like till today. i think jagex should put tb in all spell books. even lunar. but thts for another forum =p. what do u think? is ancients a waste?

alot of us have this problem the whole of pvp is nh, u have to be tbing unless you find a pure that is better then you no1 stays to fight.

Ancients is purely to stop your opponent from running i only bring like 10 blitzes when pking lol, but it was still worth 1-11 pray.

naw not a waste i dont think but u do need a tb'r but also blitz or w.e lands way more n is better then tangle after u tb them. i like barrage for the hold n all but blitz hits pretty accurate/often

Ancients IS a waste. The best times were before Desert Treasure was released. When it took CLICKING to kill someone with mage, not autocasting. When it took skill to be able to keep entangling/charging tbing, you actually had to move your mouse to hold them in place.

Actually having to move your mouse to keep someone in place does not take much skill. It may be harder to heal while doing it, but in the end it's just tedious and unbalanced compared to melee or range.

yea it does. u have to keep clicking rather then auto casting. u can literaly set blitz or barrage on ur ancient staff and sit back and relax lol.

TBH, if you and 4? of your friends went pking with just ancients using zurials, ur idiots. It's not hard to find a TB'er, just pm randomz on ur friends list. (Or tb urself, I mean shit. TB, then u do more damage with melee or range than they do with zurial spells)

ancient is good when ur 1on1 fighting in like a lvl3 or 4 area and if ur opponent start to tun u can barrage him cause he'll be low on food, tb and entangle is good for deep wildy pking, the only fucked up thing about it is when they start running through trees and sht, so there both on the equal lvl, ancients is good when ur close to a safe spot, tb/entangle is good when ur far away from a safe spot. does that help u out or solve ur answer?
