Hey guys, sorry title is kinda missleading, but I'm a pure atm, stats :

nh0uic.png

I have been thinking of going main for about a week now, and still heavily doubting.

I love pures cuz of the multi pking and you lose like only 400k if you die. At mains, you lose a lot more, but I love mains cuz of the gwd, kbd and all other sorts of events. I also like the multi pking on mains, altho I have almost no experience in that, but I love watching vids of it.

I need you guys to give me some advice, should I get atk to 75 and train def or just stay pure with 60 atk? Or just pure with 75 atk or 70 atk or something? I'm thinking I should go main for 60%, 40% of me says I should stay pure :p

Extra info : I have about a 120M+ bank

Sw auth ftw?

Spent about 1 month getting those stats, with sw yes, but no bot, I don't even know how they work. Mage is autoclicked tho lol

Not rly advice ;(

Takes more than a month to 24/7 soulwars bot those stats. And why the hell would anyone do something that's like 20-30k exp/hour at 90+ for a month when there's better alternatives. But okay...

No, don't go main. This is a silly question to ask a pure clan really.

I think this is just an attention/show off topic

These kind of decissions are up to you to confirm

Just bot a main the same way you botted this pure.

Just stay how your stats are. Get range up and mage up

Benefits of going a main : Gwd and other bosses (wow fun... not)

Disadvantages of being a main : ALOT Questing for decent weapons like the Korasi sword , barrows gloves etc .  Loosing 300k+ Everytime you die in the wilderness. Expensive gear for bosses. Also not being able to have fun with pure friends..

Benefits of staying a pure : Friends , cheap gear , loosing 150k every time you die , hardly any questing involved , one less combat skill to train and having FUN.

Disadvantages : Taking a bit more food when boss hunting.. Although if u do it in a big enough team u wont need to..

Those are my views on Pures Vs Mains , as i had a pure ages ago and got defence on it , worst mistake ever! Also if any1 else reads this post and can find things to add to the lists just quote and say ;P

When I started playing p2p on the acc it had 40 atk 80 str 70 range. I then autoclicked to 88 mage (OMG AN AUTOCLICKER), then I sw'd 70-90 range (which took about 2-3 weeks). And finally I sw'd 80-90 str, only got 90 str since like yesterday. And I'm saying how long the soulwars took, I didn't 24/7 it and I did take breaks to pk and quest and whatnot.

Lmao why does everybody think I'm botting? I'm just some1 who likes sw, it comes with low hp that's a disadvantage but whatever.

Please don't take this persons post into thought.

It's ignorance at its finest.

Only you can make the decision whether you want to go main or not.

Asking a PURE clan isn't the way to go about it.

But I will put my input and what I think is better, this is not a bias post because I'm a 'main'. I've been a pure a lot longer then I have been a main. Mains are ultimately the most fun you could have on this game, no disadvantages what so ever. "You lose more per death." Yeah? Obviously, just as, you gain more per kill. Most players on RuneScape are mains, so "having fun with your pure friends" is a stupid comment. You have more of a variety to have MORE fun with friends because there ISN'T a disadvantage, and you can play RuneScape the way it's meant to be played.

More quests, well obviously. More things to do does require so questing.

Just because some people don't like questing, doesn't mean others don't too.

I enjoy questing, I've gotten QP cape roughly 3 times, and done a lot of quests over 5 times for friends.

Even if you don't like it. Suck it up princess, if you want better items, just do it.

PKing side to it; Pures are made to PK only, not for PvM, not for skilling, just PKing.

You lose a lot less on death, agreed. And most people PK because it's fun.

I remember when I was a pure, it was very stressful. Mains always rushing/attacking you (Which obviously a pure can't beat).

Loots back in BH was awesome for pures, but now are just pathetic.

Probably only way to gain on a pure is to lure/hybrid.

Have fun deciding, make the decision yourself.

k for all the unintelligent people on this topic that think mains are shit

The cash flow is so much faster you'll end up having more money than you know what to do with once you start learning how to bosshunt.

If you don't like questing then you're just lazy. The quests are one of the best parts of the game, people just don't want to take time out of botting their accounts to do it.

Skills are much easier to train due to quest rewards and higher defense armour to protect you.

Disadvantages: People will call you a def noob in the wild because their defense is too low.

You could stay one defense though and join foe where you never cheat, never lie, wear your addy while you pray and teleport while you die.

Just saying.

What Ikz said.

But why are you making this decision now applying for a pure clan?

Posted

Ty to a few people for good comments, that was REAL advice.

I've decided to go for 20 def (maybe will go 25 def and then no more def for a while) because I like this foe (pure) community. Also, it's true, you lose alot more when u die, but u gain alot more when u get a kill, but the problem is, I have absolutely NO experience in main pking, I would have NO idea what to bring or what armor/weapons to use against mains.

Appreciate the replies tho ;)
