If you have completed Smoking Kills, what tasks have you blocked, why? My possible tasks from Duradel: (b) = i blocked it. (s) i skip it. Aberrant spectres Abyssal demon Aquanite (b) Black demon Black dragon Bloodveld Dagannoth Desert strykewyrm (b) Dust devil Fire giant Gargoyle Gorak (s) Greater demon (b) Hellhound (s) Iron dragon (b) Jungle strykewyrm (s) Kalphite Nechryael (s) Spiritual Mage Steel dragon (s) Suqah (s) Waterfiend I ask because im going for 90+ slay, am 86 at the moment and wanted to make sure i was doing tasks as well as possible seeing as this is going to be a long road. without cannon btw- (unless you got some cannoning tips)

Jessica Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I blocked a few I can't do, such as Basilisks and Cockatrices, and Elves because the tasks would take me so long cause I hit poorly on them. I considered blocking Terrordogs cause those are a horrible task overall but I get them so seldomly I just skip them instead. Scabarites are a good task to block (if you have them unlocked) as well, and I've been tempted to skip Kalphites/Cave horrors/Cave Crawlers but I've found more efficient ways to do those. I don't see why you blocked Desert Strykewyrms or skip the Jungle Strykewyrms, those are some of my favorite tasks. Some of my blocked tasks would be different than yours because I'm only 4 def and 83+11 combat so I can't use Kuradel/Duradel and never will be able to. I think Haduken pretty much covered it though. And if you're wondering, I'm 88 slayer so I'm pretty experienced.

Am keeping all the drops from slay and selling at the end (except for supplies) I've been tempted to skip Kalphites/Cave Crawlers but I've found more efficient ways to do those. Haha kalphites cave crawlers i always think the same whether or not i should skip, but ranging with 94 range and addy darts (p) goes through both of them really fast. Strykewyrms are 100% unafkable so i dont do them, i only do tasks where i can afk for some time at least, even if its just looking on forums quickly during an abyssal demon kill. HADUKEN Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 living rocks have like, 5000hp and take forever to kill. Ice stryks are fast, easy kills - and its often 40-60k xp/task also, I do greater demons without a cannon, and finish in 40 minutes, and a hellhound task with a cannon. I generally get an effigy/task or two with hellhounds. so it does pay off, tbh. and i bank ALL ashes with my yak if i cannon blacks.
