Why would it be an april fools joke? there's nothing farfetched about this update whatsoever, is it really that odd that you'd keep the item that is ACTUALLY the most expensive, rather than the item that alchs for more. Unlucky lurers, as i've said already though, there's plenty of other lures which don't involve giving the person items with high alch value, you'll find a way...
