Beastdefire Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Do you do it? And if so, how do you deal with the consequences for lifting? Personally, I drink heavily (8-10 drinks) 1-2 times a week and feel pretty shitty about it...
Ben Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 usually once a week. doesnt really affect too badly once a week.
ChaceXXX Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Heavy consumption of alcohol, It has no Advantages really. I dont see why anyone would do it. not putting any shit on you for your choice but like, Sure you get the buzz for a few hours. but then you wake up and pay for it (inb4 im pro drink) It isnt good for your health or fitness, you tend to make a fool out of your self while intoxicated and tend to make decisions you later regret, just seems foolish to abuse alcohol. No disrespect intended at all
Steroids Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 if i havn't had enough calories for one day ill sometimes have a quick beer. in moderation its fine.
Ollie Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Everyone's gotta party... like seriously. Sure, it hinders your health, but it's fucking hilarious at the time. So worth it rofl No regretsss I only do it once a week though, i wouldn't go out on 3 or 4 nights a week whilst working out.
Mr-G-Maul Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Dont drink or smoke :) rather save some money plus it tastes horrible.
IJAY Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 i dont get pissed up that much now, only if theres a party or me and my mates are doing somthing specific, i usualy just smoke alot of weed, which i regret after eating lots of crap (munchies)
Ikz Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 When I was working I was drinking 4-6 nights a week. 50+ young adults with a beach and a liquor store down the road, what else were we gonna do. I didn't find that it really affected me at all seeing I was limiting my sleep so that I would end up going to work drunk to prevent the hangover from coming therefore I would never really feel shitty and I was going to the gym too and it wasn't affecting my routine. If you find you can't handle your alcohol don't do it though. That's just silly.
Marc|Criti Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 drinking once or twice a week won't affect you... you won't become an alcoholic instantly..............
ChaceXXX Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Control yourself sir The most important thing to do while drinking ^ Control and moderation
Adam|Note Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 2-3 times a week. Takes me a lot to get drunk unless I neck like 7-8 beers back at once, which is honestly pointless. The point is to enjoy a nice cold beer with friends, conversation flows easiar and in general it produces good times. Also @Chace you feel bad in the morning because you dehydrate while you sleep, drink a pint or two of water before you head to sleep and you're practically fine apart from waking up hella early to piss. Then just keep yourself hydrated during the day. I've got a lot of great memories to look back on thanks to alcohol.
Jonny Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Still laughing about those kids in north America who think thy they're so cool if they're drunk every weekend. I did that when I was 14 -.-
Mikey` Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 oh well that makes you cool then^ Ideally for health purposes, i dont think you should drink or smoke if your want the absolute best results, but the occsasionally drink or smoke in moderation is fine granted that your responsible.
