Env Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Has anyone experienced it? It happens when you're taking large supplements of niacin, which is often in multivitamins. Anyways, today is my 5th day of training and I've been taking these multivitamins each morning, but today I took em a little earlier in my meal than usual and about 10 minutes later broke out in this patchy rash all over my body. My face looked fucked up (more than usual) and my ears were bright red. Should've taken some pics cause it was weird as hell. Idk how I'm gonna deal with this when school starts up again... Here's a good explanation of it: http://www.mens-total-fitness.com/niacin-flush.html
Mike (0BR) Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Never heard of or experienced it. Let us know for future reference about how long it lasts on you.
Acclaimed|Jordan Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Two days ago which is over a week of taking multis I had a rash on my arm and leg. It has went away already. When I get home ill check if there is niacin
Satsot Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 There's nothing wrong with Niacin. It's vitamin-B, nuts, eggs, dairy products, fish and stuff contain niacian but in low doses. What seems to be happening is that you took a larger dose than you should have.
