Roberto Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Making a program to just lose weight and I was wondering if you need to actually Bulk before following a program like this: http://muscleandstrength.com/workouts/20-6-day-weight-cardio-cutting-workout.html because a core exercise (abs) is useless if you need to lose weight? (not gained from bulking)
Steroids Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 most cutting routines are designed so you don't lose the muscle you gained from bulking, you just lose access fat from the previous high calorie diet. the routine you linked doesn't seem to be a cutting one, just general muscle building/cardio. good way to tell if its cutting/muscle building is the amount of reps. 6-12 reps for most exercises and its going to be primalary for muscle building.
