What does "period" mean after someones talking, on american shows girls will chat and be like PERIOD at the end of the sentence.

I can think of other meanings but i'm sure that's not it. :whistle:

Saying the word "period" adds closure to a previous statement. It means that whatever you said before is final and true and can't be argued.

I fixed it better. Also, British people come from Britain and English people come from England. Should you be thinking, "What's the difference?", I wouldn't assume that all Americans are also from Texas.
