Smush Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 There are some pretty knowledgeable people about the various sports out there. Think about it. There's about two UFC events every month. There's that Pacquiao vs Mosley fight coming up this week, NBA playoffs are in full swing right now with the second round meaning there's a game almost everyday. Sports is a big thing. I don't see why we have a gaming section when sports are obviously more popular.

There's about 4 MMA events every month, hopefully an MMA subforum would help people expand their knowledge of MMA further than the UFC.

Well yeah, but I highly doubt you watch every UFC event let alone every MMA event. There are a lot more than 4 MMA events every month, but for the mainstream fan the UFC is pretty much the viable option. I highly doubt that you watched Pride, Affliction, Elite XC, K-1, HDNet or Bellator. You may have caught a few glimpses of Strikeforce, but you were never a true follower of any of these organizations. So don't try to outwit me on your mainstream knowledge of MMA. You probably are only familiar with the headliners, but you're going to Google a bunch of random fighters and explain to me how you are an avid MMA fan of multiple organizations.

I haven't missed watching a UFC event since Silva vs Irvin.. and been to two ;) Someone's a little hostile for no reason, I watch Strikeforce whenever I can be bothered to sit up and stream it, I can't record it like I can the UFC so I occasionally stream the fights the day after if the feedbacks good. K-1 I've dabbled a little with, Bellator rarely I think I missed the WW final but don't really care, And I have over 30GB of Pride fights. I watched events in the WEC headlined by people like Pettis, Torres, Aldo to name the obvious. TPF have some awesome featherweights and i'm going to BAMMA 6.
Sefket Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 To many sub forums... It will drop activity in some forums.
Env Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Then close inactive subs like Other Games Area, Debate Area, etc. Silly Sefket.

I get cranky.
