(in america at least) It's not as taboo as you think it is. I've had 7 long lasting relationships... 1 of them being online. It was a first time thing, and you know what? It was actually really fun, I enjoyed every moment of being with her. I recommend trying it sometime, just make sure you both have money to fly each other and meet. Again, theres nothing wrong with meeting someone over the internet, who says you can't meet someone perfectly fit for yourself from across the globe? :D
