Jared Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 So when I wake up I don't eat anything at all for breakfest. Not on purpose, only because I don't have time, all I drink is maybe 1 or 2 cups of water and thats it. My question is... Is me not having anything solid for breakfest doing good for my body? Is it doing bad? or is it simply just doing nothing harmful or helpful?

You don't eat anything from 10pm-7am.. then when you wake up you still dont eat anything?? You probably eat lunch at 12. Thats 14 hours without eating ANYTHING. Your body may not look like it is getting weak but inside is probably weak as fuck
Tango_Oscar Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 NO. breakfast/dinner should be biggest meal of day. This. i have around 900Kcal for my breakfast. If i dont, i dont make any gains Fast acting protein + carbs in the morning. Gradual release before nighttime
Dan| High Rating Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 NO, breakfast is where u should have the bulk of your carbs and some protein to avoid going into a cannabolic (sp?) state, if you don't have time for it, make time.

Tris Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Few months ago in Summer I used to wake up at 11am-12pm and skip eating all together till like 2-3pm, I used to feel sluggish and tired most of the day. Now I wake up at an alarm of 9am, have breakfast and keep with the meal plan for the day. Feel 10x better in general then I did during Summer.

Increased fatigue/not as efficient in the morning due to low blood glucose levels increased fat gain due to slow metabolism decreased muscle mass due to your body being in a catabolic state morning is the only time most people consume milk (most of their calcium intake) if no breakfast means no calcium....higher chance of osteoperosis/less dense bone structures. hope this helped
