Craig Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Ok i am most likely not teh only person on the forums who uses youtube to listen to music/watcvh videos. VEVO is something you have most likely come across. Imo its the most annoying thing ever. Just to listen to a bloody song and you get a bloody advert. VEVO is just a load of marketing bollucks. What do you think?
X0 Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 w/o vevo and those adds we would have to pay to use youtube lol.
gfdgfd Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Yeah it's unfortunate, ever since youtube got more popular record companies have started monitoring copyright abuse :/
Adam|Note Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 First Cartoon Network, now Youtube. Hopefully porn isn't next.
I C0NN0R I Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 google are fucking assholes. ok sure have advertisements before partner videos, after all you're paying the partners for their content and you need to profit from it. But they put ads before everyones fucking vids, when they in no way contribute to the channels content.
plex Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 w/o vevo and those adds we would have to pay to use youtube lol. this^ although its still annoying as hell im glad they finally gave th option to skip ads that are like 1min long, you gotta give respect for that
Smush Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Just use popup blocker for Mozilla or Google Chrome ... I never have to watch ads anymore ... Silly kids.
Dravid Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 yea but most things are also for marketing in the world too lol
d72 Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Vevo is both good and bad. It's good because it contains the very VERY large majority of mainstream and even some underground music at great quality without having to sift through pages and pages of shit. It's bad because, like said, it's corporate and incredibly pumped with useless advertising. I don't mind it, but I wouldn't mind if it went and died in a hole either.
gfdgfd Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Most of you don't seem to realise, it's either VEVO, or youtube just straight has no music... or youtube gets sued by record companies for copyright infringement, it'd be the same case whether owned by google or not.
