Since a few days I got shin splits, on both of my legs ..

No more squats, deadlifts , or any other leg exercises  :(

Anyone got some tips on what I should do or maybe exercises that I can do to not lose to much muscle in my legs?

found this while bored as fuck flicking through EVERY channel we have. I found it hilarious and genuinely sat there captivated by this, trying it.

hi jef <3

edit: this actually isn't very helpful but there is a leg exercise one near the end of the video.

I'd just rest it for a few days. As long as you're eating properly you really shouldn't "lose" any muscle.

Ice and rest, I got these when I use to do hurdles.

Buy some footwear that is approriate for your foot type mate.

When I was into long distance running before I got shin splints.

Whatever you do DO NOT work out your legs with a shin splint, I tried to fight the pain and do squats and I ended up being out longer than I needed.

REST REST REST just "neglect" legs until they heal

Yeah I thought that but isn't it possible for me to do like leg extensions/curls in order to keep training my quads/hamstrings because I might be out for a long time..

And @Tom: I did a special foot research thing or w/e it's called where they film you running and analyse what kind of shoe would be best, then they said what would be the best shoe for me for running and that's what i'm currently using.
