still going strong, have access to a small gym in my neighborhood that i've been going to. moving back to california in like a week then i'll start going to a real big boy gym. Results are still basically the same, blew the shit outta my triceps yesterday and went light on my bi's because of that today. doing legs and abs tomorrow might go back to bi's again before tri's if they still hurt haha.

ok can see some progression in a week which is rare, might be lighting idk. but just remember you start off quickly, then it dips slightly after the first load of gains. trick is to not give up at that point.

Doesn't look like much of a transformation especially considering it's only been 7 days and you're flexing in the second picture.

Why four protein shakes a day if you're not even going to the gym? The protein just goes right out of you in the toilet. Your body can only take so much.

Best of luck with the journey though.

no I've been working out doing MAD pushups sit ups and crunches and some dumbbells, but I went to a real gym today.. and in the first pic I was flexing just not in the same posisition, as for the lighting its in the same room with the same lights on. I said in my first topic that I get my base back FAST and yea roids that's always been my hardest part is watching the results slow down.. but ill stay with it, I'm Moving back to Cali in 2 weeks so ill have some gym buddies again finally..

edit: and i've been doing about 350 - 500 pushups everyday, and on the upside of 500+ crunches with about 150 situps... (started A LOT shorter the first few days, that was what i'm able to do as of now before my arms and stomach fail.) i also do extended arm'd pushups (incline, decline and nutural) diamons, and shoulders width. crunches i just do the p90x routine but i do it 2 or 3 times a day, maybe more..

went to the gym today and actually worked on some tri&chest machines, feels good man..

The lighting is obviously different and its going to be minimal progress after 7 days, take another pic in 3 months and you should see good progress if you keep up with a good eating plan and routine.

I don't really know what MAD is, but I would stick with a routine involving free weights (not mainly machines) hitting all parts of your body in a split format or a full body workout (such as a starting strength workout).

As for 300 push ups and crunches a day, it isn't needed and not beneficial. Muscles generally take around 48 hours to recover before you should be hitting them again, no reason to do abs and chest (some triceps) everyday. And P90x is generally a program people use to cut with due to the cardio, but the AB Ripper X is decent for abs (hanging leg raises/weighted crunches/planks/compounds hit them better though honestly).

You must not be ingesting any natural protein if your taking 4 protein shakes a day.

i eat protein every day i'm just over loading on the shakes for the first tub because i'm just trying to pack on as much weight as i can and turn it into muscle so it doesn't dissipate as quickly as fat does off my body. yea i know the pushups and crunches were overkill but i was working on my base and mostly my endurance so i CAN go hard in the gym. thats my issue the only free weights i have available are the shitty all in 1 bench i've had for like 10 years, or dumbbells at the gym by my house, other than that all they have is machines.

i'm gonna be moving back to cali in 2 weeks and i'll start going to a REAL gym then, but for now i gotta do what i can with what i have...

i didn't get to buy a scale today :/ TOMORROW hopefully though i will..

(edit: and about the lighting i noticed it was different too in the pics, i can guarantee its the same light switch in the same room under the same settings, idk maybe my phones trippin out.. )

I'm glad that you've started working out, but I don't see why people do pushups and situps everyday?.. I guess that might be a good place to start, but you must understand that your body needs to RECOVER.

EDIT: As long as you have dumbells to work with that are the correct weight, and a bench, then you're set. Arnold didn't get huge with fancy equipment.

EDIT: Fail edit  (n)

honestly I did that many pushups and situps out of Bordem, I live alone and just got laid off form work so I've been sitting around my house with nothing to do hahaha.. and the gym by my house was closed while they were fixing the cement outside, it just opened back up today thankfully ..

so ill keep the diet up because it seems to be working ok, and ill just start bustin my ass in the gym on 3 day cycles I suppose.. bi's/back 1st day, chest tri's 2nd day, and legs and ab's day 3 then take Sunday off and repeat.. sound good? o_O

gl m8, just remember not to give up and i've read your relpies so I won't tell you again that those push ups won't do much to put on muscle :P. gl with your goals and keep us informed, and remember to eat right, the gym is only 50% of the equation

I'm considering starting to go to a gym. The only thing is that my metabolism is so ridiculously fast that it's really hard for me to gain any weight, even if I just sit on my ass all day and eat junk food(im 6'1 and 145 pounds). So idk how effective weight lifting is going to be.

supplements and a high calorie diet have never been beaten by a high metabolism.
