Eric Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 my truck is an automatic, although i have owned cars that were manual.. it doesn't really matter to me either way, the only reason i got an automatic truck was to go muddin in too hard to shift and mob through puddles :p

I'll be driving a manual when my cars running. and autos are actually faster, they put down the power better as the car itself knows the best time to change gear etc.. Where as people with manuals straight away think that revving the tits off a car and redlining it is the best time to change, its not lol.

If your driving a manual vs an automatic then it is quicker in a manual. I've driven both and theres a difference when say going from gear 2 to 3. You can keep the revs going past where an automatic would shift up so your gaining more speed. Thats why some automatics have a sport button, all that does is increase the revs basically. Also driving an automatic is like driving a go kart.
