Life without Runescape

I played it through-out my young teens, pretty much quit at 16. Therefore I didn't miss much, it probably done me good to be indoors in the area I live in.

You'll outgrow it in time, don't worry. Once girls, college, drinking, working and such are factors, Runescape wont even cross your mind.

depends on the POV you look from, okay i might have better social life and very good grades but would that make me a better person?

if there was no rs i would probably still sit in front of pc, playing some other game, talking on other forums and shit.

sometimes i feel like you do that ive wasted time in this game but tbh, english isnt my first language so most of my language ''skill'' comes from internet (=rs), ive met loads of great people and maybe even gotten bit more mature.

its about 50/50 imo, it has bad sides but some good sides too.

Well I guess I'm just a washed up 15 year old Runescape addict.

I'M A MESS :(

Don't worry, I'm a 20 year old Runescape addict.

If I hadn't scape nothing would have changed up until uni. Then uni came and it's so shit that I'd rather scape and because of that I've done shit. Oh well.

Without scape:

Better grades.

Better fitness... :(

Better guitarist. (This is what I most care for... fucking scape.)

I can speak English pretty much as easy as I can speak Dutch because of RS. I also had a lot of fun playing the game, but after playing RS for about 5 years, I decided to quit and spend my time and effort on other things, like school and work. I simply don't have the time to play as often as I used to anymore.:o

The game really was addicting, I can't deny that.

I just don't enjoy the game anymore, too many people talking shit and raging on the internet.

I had fun playing the game though.

Good replies guys, and yeah Bernie I realize I'm still young and have a life ahead of me.  It's just it makes me depressed looking at my time played.

Even though half of it's botted o.O

I understand that bro.

Just keep that in mind, if a times comes and you're thinking like what the hell am I playing this game instead of doing something with a girl or mates. Then log off.

I usually thought on my friday upto sunday.

Kickin' it on friday! fun fun fun fun fun!

sorry had to.

You're 15, get over yourself.

If you really want to quit, then quit.

Don't talk about the what ifs in life because that won't get you anywhere.

The key is moderation, everything in moderation will set you straight.

There's a time for everything. Education, fun, rest, etc.

i got random mood swings about it. but ive come to conclusion that.. in the time of me playing rs.. i would prolly be playing ps3 or xbox.. nothing would be different. and i think overall ive learned alot through this addicting game.

Don't worry Sam, I played when I was real young, like when the had the fence in the wild and all that and I would not or could not get off.  I being serious when I say I had dreams that i was pking on RS I played so much.  We all went through it or are going through it ; )

My social life has increased aswell as my grades. Quit awhile back, still come to these forums or play Xbox when I have downtime.

Runescape is my everything I tell people to GTFO my face if i'm trying to avoid them to play Runescape and if they keep asking me to come out or do something then I threaten them with a dragon dagger special and If they continue I go to my kitchen get a kitchen knife paint it green and red and stab the fuck out of whoever disrupted my game play.

Na I j/k I've got a decent social life as it is, the only thing that would change if I didn't play Runescape would be the quality of my academic acheivment. It's poor to say the least. 18 now and starting a plumbing corse in college this september. Done a year at A levels already and have done an extra year of GCSE's since I left school. I've got potential in life and I think I will always play runescape in my sparetime. I just seem to have a lot of spare time as it is ;D.
