G-maul

So ive been pking recently an trying to gather up some clips I can submit for the pk vid.

One spec wep I really like is the maul because I remember it hitting very well in pvp/bh and especially in "old wildy"

Now however, whether its using msb-gmaul or dscim-gmaul, the timing seems fucked up.

The way I try to unload the specs is timing my first wep and right as its animation starts I weild gmaul, click attack and wait for its first strike to start and then spam click spec bar.

This always seems to result in a first strike, pause and then two quick strikes.

If I try to click the spec bar any sooner I just get 2 hits instead of the intended three.

What am I doing wrong?

I remember you could almost instantly get 3 strikes before?

Also the hits are almost always shit but that's just luck I guess.

Just spec instantly instead of attacking once first, more of a surprise and thus harder to tank IMO. or try speccing first then pressing attack, should still result in a 3rd attacking considering the gmaul specs don't reset the hit timer.

I mean there is that.

If do that the third attack comes at normal speed, thus making it just a stronger and a little quicker than a dds.

With just one spec.

I think the maul has been updated and changed since then.

its all about timing and practising with gmaul - perhaps add a combo to it like msb-Dscim-Then Gmaul specs.

There is a small gap between it, try using a world with a lower ping and just spamclick the fuck out of it.

Figured it out.

It used to be that if pulled out gmaul you would need to wait for the first strike to start before spamming the attack bar.

Now you can just click attack and spam click the bar and that will result in one animation and three instant strikes.

All counts as one hit too.

Got a 560exp hit on a dude.

I do this..

Range them with dragon darts, get em fairly low, whip out the maul.

Whack, double click spec bar REALLY fast.

Should be like a

150+ (Dragon Dart)

100+ (whack)

200+ (1st spec)

200+ (2nd spec)
