Suggestion for 20def and turmoil ''pures''

Surprisingly I haven't seen many people using the initiate or proselyte sets bought from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador (I think he's left of the tree patch).

Think of it as 3 inventory spaces in 1. It's possible to UNBOX the set so you can use the 3 items. I don't know if you can do this while in combat, but it seems like a good idea in wildy wars. Proselyte armour does not affect the accumulator. The initiate set costs 20k and the proselyte set costs 25k.

When you have the armour in a box, you can equip armour with more mage defence, and later use the armour equivalent to mith/addy with a higher prayer bonus when you've used some of your food.

I tested this a few months ago, so I suppose they're still boxed.

Yeah 20 sets is 400-500K down the drain, but i guess people can make that  amount pking a rune set.

Used to do this a few times, but ending up in a return fight with only initiate is bad attack bonus.

So only do this when your out of sets and are meleeing...

Would be good apart from the fact that you don't need melee defence bonus on p2p as a pure, it's about as useful as a turd flavoured lollypop :/
