Is 77 Prayer Worth It? (1 Defence)

Hi, everyone.

Title says it all really, is 77 prayer worth it? 77 prayer grants access to the 2 best possible range/mage prayers a pure can get, however it costs several 100k tokens to get them.

For now, don't think about how long it takes to get the tokens, just consider whether the bonuses are the worth the combat difference. At the moment I'm working on my pure, with 52 prayer it will be maxed at 95 combat (without summoning), if I got 77 prayer I would be maxed at 98 combat. So a 3 combat difference, not much of a price to pay.

What's your opinion?

1 defence at over 90 combat isn't good at all, unless it's a mini prod acc.

Get em, if tokens arnt an issue then yh why not.

But as mentioned that's only recommended if ur in a clan or mini a lot, if u solo pk then probably not.

95 combat or 98 combat you'll be getting raped in 1v1 against tanks, zerks, or initiate pures... So might as well get it anyways if u can spare the tokens.

At ur cb lvl...no...unless you get 95 prayer and turmoil.

If you're a mini prod, then yes.... (since curses are usually off for those anyways) if you like pking a lot, then no.

Turmoil would be the best for you since you are combat 90+. Might as well get it 2 in 1 eh? If you don't get what I mean, turmoil would also mean you can use those two prayers on the regular prayer book.

If you're 95 combat with 1 defence then you're probably not going to be 1v1ing, and if you are then 98 combat isn't going to be much of a diference at all so I'd say yes.

98 combat won't be any different from 95, you're still gonna fight all turmoil pures, and the odd tank, might as well.

if you like 1v1ing in edge, no. if you're more of a clan-pure then yes.  

I personally would prefer 95 over 98cb. im currently 96cb and thinking of getting 77 and be 99cb. but im not getting it anytime soon as I like my cb and every cb matters alot, especially around this lvl.
