Octavarium Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 This game goes hand in hand with rl cash... it just makes sense to support.
Grabbin Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 i dont understand how people sell it. say im buying 100m i give the trusted member the irl money over paypal he trades 100m in game i then file a dispute with paypal 100% win for me. So i get all my money back. Seems like a trust game. What he said. It can't work this way, how do they sell?
Adam|Note Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 dont care, sold all my money for €5 per mill Introduce me to the dipshit you're selling to. i dont understand how people sell it. say im buying 100m i give the trusted member the irl money over paypal he trades 100m in game i then file a dispute with paypal 100% win for me. There's a few way to avoid this, Sell with the method of gift so they can't file a chargeback and add notes saying they've already received the virtual items, although this is only a security measure for the seller. People can still file their money bank via calling the bank and saying they didn't authorize that but that is illegal and if anyone did to me I'd make sure they'd get fucked right back for it and one way or another I'm leaving with the money they owe me. Personally I've only ever had 2 disputes on paypal, one for $320 and one for $1440 which I won both because I had supporting evidence along with evidence they both had more then 1 paypal account and both used false real life details.
Xaves Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 you gotta accept it anyway cause no way jagex can do something about it with free trade

Just be Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Well like 10% of people that rwt get banned (maximum) It wouldn't cause as many problems if they took it off their rules, people are going to do it regardless.. Years ago I sold tonnes of gp, then I stopped selling and decided to start playing legit.. I xferred my rares from my main to my rune pure, the account I wanted to play on and a few hours later got a rwt ban.. when I wasn't rwting lol, just shows how great jagex detection systems work, trading between accounts shouldnt be against the rules either, you earned the money you should be able to use it how you like.

Actually very few people get banned for RWT, I only know of 1 person being banned for it after selling GP since the release of FT. And trading between your OWN accounts is allowed assuming it's the same IP being used on both accounts.
