Smush Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 You decided to join a gym? Progress at all? Anyways, they're usually done in front of neck, behind the neck causes a lot of unnecessary pressure on the rotator cuff. Personal preference, really, but I don't do behind cause it hurts.
antO Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 target lateral? grip width? sitting? standing? I personally change it up, I'm currently doing rear military press, targets more on the side/rear laterals. Keeping to keep each lateral in proportion.
Reevesy Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 depends how flexible you are. i do front. if u can do behind neck without stressing your shoulders or getting any pain what so ever, why not, they help get more mid/rear delt work done.
