Xaves Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I've been doing pushups lately ( Like 2 months 4 times a week 3 sets of like 15 - 12 - 10 ) But I still can't get more then 15 push ups per set. How does this come? Am I doing them wrong or is it normal some tips would be appreciated
Reevesy Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 don't do them if ur sore. rest is key, and pressups suck dick.
Xaves Posted June 19, 2011 Author Posted June 19, 2011 Because they're pushups I dont get it. What's wrong with push-ups?
Smush Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Lol you have a weak chest. Either you're doing it wrong, or you're over training. The average person should be able to do at least 30 pushups, somethings wrong with you mate.

Maybe just do 1 set max reps instead of 3 sets and hold some weight on your back

Jim Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 More than likely because of how your breathing. Push-ups are shit anyway.

They are used alot for boxers or for people who are trying to get the CV up.

Steroids Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 no bodyweight exercises are any good for building chest muscle other than chest dips. join a gym or get alot of equipment.

Tom (Rendition) Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Chest is probably one of the harder exercises to workout without any weights. Most other things you can get a reasonable workout at home if you have a chinup bar or some parralel bars.
