Bullet Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Yeah bro i play on full tilt and titan though, got a bank roll of about $40 on tilt atm after losing a few $10 sit and goes. Had £50 on titan until i stupidly played blackjack and it fucked me over 15 hands in a row. I have Pokerstars but no bank roll on it atm withdrew $100 few months ago.
X0 Posted June 23, 2011 Author Posted June 23, 2011 i like fulltilt more but all my accs on it are in usa mode and when i try to put money on it with usa methods they say usa goverment fucked them or something, and when i try to change homeland to dutch they also say i cant do that lol. so i changed to pokerstars
Mori Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Never played it b4, don't know the rules don't feel like starting it lol
I C0NN0R I Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 better off playing irl, or you'll blow your bank in no time online.
DeltaPapa Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Whats happening? I dont understand what happened? You win Bank?
Octavarium Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I suggest you start playing irl as well. Online pro players get fucked by rl pro players. I recommend watching High Stakes Poker. They always have the best cash game players and they play everything so perfectly. PLus they explain what goes on and such. Cash games > tournaments > online.

Cash games > tournaments > online. some of the best poker players started off online Tom Dwan, Phil Galfond etc but i kind of agree Isildur1 is like one of the best online players but got dominated by Phil ivey. But i usually play cash games and find it much easier to win money than online, can usually get a good read on people when you have been chatting and sitting with them for a few hours.

Yes, that's why I love cash games. It feels social but what you're actually doing is getting information and taking their moneys. and Tom Dwan has turned into a cash game player now. He's played flawlessly for the past 3 seasons of high stakes. Especially his use of betting, he knows when to bet too much to get them to back off and knows the exact amount to gode them into the pot. favourite poker player?
Tom (Rendition) Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 It's not the same online, not a fan of online poker.

Probably Negreanu because of the variety of hands he plays and he's also a laugh to watch on TV! but yeah Dwan has turned into a really good cash game player
Octavarium Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 NO WAY! Negreanu is my favourite player because he's almost psychic. He reads people so well that he just knows what they have. I was watching him in a tournament, he knew he had the weaker hand so he decided to "guess" his opponents hand. "Do you have Q9 of spades?" "Fold." For the life of me, I had no idea how he got it because there wasn't a queen or a 9 or a spade draw. I think it was a gutshot straight draw. He also plays on pokerstars, and aparently is trying to turn $10 into $100000 just from there. X0, if you see KidPoker at your table, be very careful.
Berniej Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 annoying that you can also play against pro's lol :P , I don't wanna go against them . which website do you guys advice to play on?
Octavarium Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Both pokerstars and fulltiltpoker are good sites. Unfortunately you will find pros on both of them. The thing is, you can only learn new things when you play against a pro. The way they play is they analyse every hand that is happening regardless of if they're in it. They try and work out what hands everybody has, what you would do in that situation and how they did it differently and wether their play was better than what you would have done. When you do this against pros you will learn. If you lose all your money, consider it paying for a pro poker lesson.
