Spittles (Old School)

So little under a month ago I spotted a lump\bulge located near my belly button. I immediately knew this was something new and scheduled a doctors appointment the following weekend. The doctor told me it could possibly be an abdominal\umbilical hernia, the lump\bulge wasn't very big so I never thought it was that serious, the doctor set up an appointment with a professional which I went to today. Turned out it was an umbilical hernia but minor. So this is the mild news. The bad news is that I can't work out for three weeks after the surgery. I specifically set the date to have surgery right after I get a 3 week break (ironic) for football (I work out with my team mon-thurs for 2 hrs+ doing heavy lifting.) So I guess I'm glad if the hernia had to happened it occurred right now. The bad thing is after the surgery and three weeks later I have Hell week + 2 a days so you can imagine that I'll be weaker..

I told the Doctor I do heavy lifting and he said that's probably how I got it but it's kind of stupid to hear since I have near perfection form on any weight lift I do and I've been working out for well over three years...

So yeah that's the gay news and It's just such a set back... shit happens I guess.

Might be wrong but if you get one hernia, aren't you more susceptible to getting more when you're older? Kind of shitty though good luck with the surgery.

Getting a hernia is one of my greatest fears whenever I lift really heavy. Good luck with the surgery man and hopefully a speedy recovery.
