You should have 1-2 rest days and don't do the same exercises everyday because your muscules need to rest.

Most people work individual muscules in diferent days for better results.

Ill try seperating the workout so each day ill work out a diffrent muscle, like that? And also does it slow your gains to go every day doing the same exercises? I can rest for 1-2 days if that helps.

Yes, you should work different mucles every day.

Think overtraining as overwanking.

You wank once and you're hard as a rock;

Second time you're still hard but you don't feel that intense dick;

Third, you can still roll but you know it's just not the same and not as much milk as the previous two;

and so on.

In general it is a good idea to work two muscle groups a day. I usually work ones that are related such as chest/triceps or back/biceps. Don't lift every day like others said. If you are there every day I suggest devoting some just to cardio.

yes. there are many negative points to overtraining. most large muscles such as back/chest/quads etc take a good few days to repair and be able to train them again, don't take "acheing" as a sign of whether of not you can train them either.

Doing the same exercises is bad, you get used to it and your muscles stagnate (dont grow).

Variation is key

Sounds like what i do.

I train whenever i can. I do a very simple routine that does my whole body.

Im only doing this to gain some (what i call) starting muscle. When i started i was quite scrawny and weak. However once i have some starting muscle (in like 2 weeks) il start doing a 3/4 day split which i know is better

If you want to do a routine based on starting "muscle" you should do "Starting Strength"

(http://newbie-fitness.blogspot.com/2006/12/rippetoes-starting-strength.html)

which focuses on heavy compounds rather than, what i can imagine you doing - probably just going on various arm machines and the crunch machine.. - so yeah don't make the same mistake many people make and go on a fucking split when you can't even bench 1plate.

Hey guys i have another question.

I asked two of my gym coaches today about this and one of them did this

He splitted my workouts like A B A B

So on sunday - I do A - Monday - I do B - Tuesday - I do A Wednesday - I do A And so on..

And one of them told me I should work out all of the body like A and B togheter in one day, and then rest one day so Like on Sunday ill do all of the body then rest on monday then tuesday all of the body and Wednesday all of the body again and so on.

Which one of them is better for me?
