60 atk vs 80 atk

I have been wondering this for a while and was wondering what everyone else opinions are on this. 60atk vs 80atk

With 60 atk you are 83 combat (max stats, no summon) and with 80atk you're 89 combat (still maxed stats/no summon). With 80atk you get the advantage of been able to use the all mighty chaotic mail/rapier and does this fact make up for the increase in 6 combat levels?? Seen as at the higher levels you fight more turmoil people and fags with higher than 40 defence.

i was maxed 60 attack and stayed 60 for pking after coming back for the return of the wilderness, was bitterly disappointed at what pking has now become and got 80 attack because it is better for clanning and won't affect me because I don't pk on this anyway.
