Some one on my facebook posted "THUNDERCATS" so I googled "a show about 2 cats that own a garage and fly a plane" and I found a wikipedia article named "Swat Kats" and I was like...THE INTERNET IS AWESUM :D *This topic was inspired by* http://www.foe-rs.com/forums/off-topic/90_s-nick-47241/

And yes, Swat Cats was an American show. I think the show I REALLY watched religiously was DBZ.
