Tbh man, buy a door frame pull up bar, do it every night b4 you go to bed. You'll see nice gains over time.

HE WANTS TO GET BIGGER, RUNNING DOESNT DO THIS MATE!! do you think that only pro bodybuilders work legs other than cardio lol?? just doing cardio will leave ur legs well out of proportion if you're building ur upper body.

idiot ill delete all ur replies untill you show some knowledge.

Jesus christ lol, chill out captain cocaine...

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=131379243 have a look round really good website :)

This will be the best routine for you to utilize your noob gains (fast progress both strength and visible for the first couple of months).

But one thing is for certain, you will need to keep yourself motivated and dedicated to any routine. When someone wants to change their life, the motivation has to come from within. Anyone pointing out the obvious isn't going to be the catalyst for their success.

Good luck.

best thing u can do is join a hardcore gym. at these posh fucking faggot council gyms they just turn their nose up at you and itll be full of scruffy charvers, so go to the most hardcore gym where all the 'roidheads' go in ur town/city and that is where u shall find the most help.

Also this. The biggest people in my gym and every other gym i've been to are always the nicest people and the most willing to help. Don't let it put you off.

starting strength routines r always alot of the big main compound lifts.

u need to research the PROPER FORM for all the exercises you're going to be doing to make sure you get all the gains/improvements and eliminate the injury risk.

Already started, looked up a couple lifts i didnt understand on youtube, and it showed me the right and wrong way of doing them.

Also Meleed. Kinda sucks, gym like 2 mins away has limited equipment, pretty sure it has some ok stuff though ill check during the week. The gyms with the best equipment are like 10 mins drive from me. And since my mum works til like 6/7 most days.. Means id have to trek there everyday lol :/

At this point of time maybe start with body weight exercises. Ā Do a few pressups and chinups everyday around your hours. Ā Once you get good at those join the gym.

And don't worry if your gym is shit.Ā  Most exercises require a dumbell/bunchbell and a bench, I guess it must have a few of those?

Tbh no more excuses m8. It's up to you really how dedicated you are and how much you're willing to push yourself. Start out slow and steady and get familiarized with basic bodybuilding terms, the correct form, nutrition and diet, and the rest will come naturally.

When you first start lifting proper form is key. Also I know it's hard to stay committed when you start lifting but keep at it and you'll start seeing results.

Are free weights and all the stuff to do benching, and the big weights for powercleaning absolutely vital? Because my local doesn't have that stuff lmao. Apparently im told we have other machines that work the same muscles but im not convinced seeing as im told by my 16 year old mates, none of whom go to the gym often, and personally i reckon just sticking to ss is better than going off on some other machines. Thoughts?
