Tango_Oscar Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Would be interesting to do forum challenges? What the challenges are about The challenges are not about stroking your ego, they are about getting you active and perhaps challenging your fitness in ways you wouldn't normally challenge it. This is why the challenges will try and steer away from, "60 Press Ups GO!". Be warned now that if this thread turns into a, "Ha! I'm fitter than you!" or a battle of egos, it will be closed immediately. Cheating As said above, these challenges are not about stroking your ego, therefore if you cheat, you're only cheating yourself and if we or other forum members suss out that you have been cheating you will just look like an idiot. We understand that it's not possible for everyone to post proof, but everybody here knows how to upload a picture from your phone, so why not a video? It's not a necessity, but it would be nice. Static Hold Challenge This challenge is basically, hold four uncomfortable positions for as long as you can and the over all time is your result, biggest time wins. In between each exercise there is to be 30 seconds rest. First position is a Wall Sit. This is a wall sit: As soon as your knees break the 90degree angle, the wall sit is over and you move onto the next exercise. Second position is a Plank. This is a plank: As soon as your body is no longer in a straight line, the plank is over and you move onto the next exercise. Third Position is a Static Pull Up Hold. Basically just grab your pull up bar and hang there for as long as possible, as soon as you let go, move on to the last exercise. Last position is the Iron Cross. Stand with your arms out so you look like a cross, as soon as your arms drop from 90degrees away from your body, the exercise is over. Should be in this format 1st exercise: 1:00 2nd exercise: 2:00 3rd exercise: 1:30 4th exercise: 3:00 Overall time: 9:00 (remember, the 30 seconds rests will be included in the over all time)

Tango_Oscar Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 the static pullup is to be done with a wide overhand grip or more so towards the chinup posistion? guaranteed ill smash everyone at this one! others r girly. overhand grip, hands directly above your shoulders is more friendly on your joints. you must do all the exercises as its a challenge of them all. And put your ego away mate or everybodys gonna be saying i can do the pull up one for hours...
Steroids Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 i did tht iron cross one a year ago for some reason with 2 m8s and i lost to 1 guy thts the scrawniest mug in the world. less arms to hold up. that challenge should be invalid.

Steroids Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 tis all about the persons muscle to weight ratio.
Tango_Oscar Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 tis all about the persons muscle to weight ratio. Yeah i said that in an earlier post lol. its better to have everybody compete in bodyweight exercises than some 20stone cunt benching loads more than the average person cause hes fat as fuck
