Main Xfers' Intro

Hi Foe,

Looking to make a pk vid for my new account, I have basically NO skills in editing, but I managed to put this little intro together

..

Could anyone give me some advice on how to improve it?

At the end where I have the text, is it possible to make something in Cinema 4D and have the text lay over the vid? Or would i have to go more in depth and do some kind of green screen effect?

Much thanks in advance.

not bad, firstly what program are you using? the black gradient is a bit harsh, maybe make it smaller, and not fade from 100% opacity. as for the text, in cinema 4d you can choose to render the alpha, i.e without a background and save it as a .png format to keep the transparency, then just chuck it on top of the video, easy.

Thanks for the feedback

Sorry, I probably should have said what program I'm using - Sony Vegas 10

Basically what i did was added the soft contrast effect to every clip, set the contrast to 0 and messed with the Vignette. Then changed the brightness to -0.27 at the beginning. I also did Studio RGB to Computer RGB color correction to all of them.

I'm not sure what you mean by The black gradiant and opacity, could you maybe explain these and what they do?

Could I also render the alpha as a movie keeping it transparent (so that the text could be animated(I'm using intro templates off yt)), or does that only work with png?

by black gradient i just meant the vignette, but assumed you wouldn't know what a vignette is lol. As for the opacity i mean make the gradient start outside the stage so that it's not 100% black on the sides, and maybe lower the opacity of it.

Its zeh noob

If your looking for a "real" intro its way too long... If its just the beginning of a pk video then its over editted IMO.
