Since when has RS been laggy?

Ok well I hadn't played much this summer until 2 days ago I renewed my membership. I have been playing a private server, which is great, for the past 2-3 months. Anyway everything on rs is laggy now, and don't say it's my pc because it's not. Hell private messages take over a second to send, all hits are delayed from the animation, and the eating is slower. Shit, rs is laggier than the damn private server I play. What I want to know is when did this happen, and how many people agree with me?

If I choose a populated world and it lags, it is still laggy. The private server I play on is operating with 900+ lag free and it's 1/100 of the host servers jagex should have.

is ur computer all up to date on its installations/securtity prefrences if not this can be a problem affecting you aswell.

I don't exactly lagg, but everytime I log in, starting about a week ago, I can't do anything.

For the first 5 seconds, all I can do is talk/walk. I can't follow, attack something, bank etc.

This is so annoying at PK trips cos I can't fall in as fast.

And I know it isn't anything to do with my connection/PC.

Thats because private servers are alot quicker... for example you could probably eat 2 sharks in the space of 1 shark on real rs. Rs has always been like this, you've just obviously gotten used to playing on the private servers.

It's the updates........... When you eat a shark it delays the next hit and so on.

An update can simplie explain everything thats gone wrong for you...

Because they're adding so much useless updates which messes up the server space and that's probably why.

My laptop was never "da shit out" but it was decent to pk with. Recently updates made like lag badly and switch prayer, weapons etc have a huge delay now. :S
