alienware is almost as shit as sierra leone.. you could build a laptop with better parts for 500$. (building a laptop is fkn gay though)... you pay 2k for looks with alienware..

build your own though but they weren't the options were they.

There are some pretty decent dell PC/L Tops out. The Dell XPS laptop is one of the most amazing computers i've ever touched.

Honestly, I know you say it's out of the question but you'd save a hell of a lot of money and have a much higher performance computer if you built it yourself, you'd be surprised how easy it is when you follow a guide step by step, or as Adam said, have someone build it for you.
