You've come to the right place.

When you're maxed, you'll be 83 Cb whether you're 1 or 3 def. If you find going to 20 def and adding another 4 Cbs to be reasonable, then go for it. If you're into bridding I would say stay 3, but if you're more focused on the clanning scene go 20.

For the money problem, if you're a botter, that answers itself, if you're a "legit" player, grab some flax til you have 100k, then start camping green drags, flip with your side money, kill botters, etc.
