Doing clues on a pure is kinda a waste of time in my opinion. If its a level 3, Incredibly likely you will need defense, if level 1 or 2, not worth it in my opinion.

I've done LOADS of lvl 3 clue scrolls.

As long as your 20 defence with loads of quests done you will be stopped by defence not to often.

Still sucks if you get like 3 clues in a row which require defence but yeah.

I've seen a guy get 2 3rd age kites in 1 clue. The ultimate luck.

Well, out of about 20 lvl 3 clues on a 10 def account, i've got through about 7 of them...So not really.

7 out of 20 is almost a 2 out of 3 fail.

Which makes it 66% to fail.  That's a good chance that you'll get a clue which you need defence for ;).

With 20 defence it's like 33% I think.
