It's overhyped trash, the hook saves most of the tracks from being skipped.

The best song is the interlude and that's only because of Tech.

If you think he is lyrically talented you're just as deluded as the mugs that worship him. There are far better lyricists that produce far better music that should be where he is. But truth is uneducated niggers somehow appreciate his monotone flow and hearing mother fucker rhymed with mother fucker. He does have a few good 4/8bars here and there but he isn't consistent.

Abortion is straight fire, the first verse of She Will is probably the best verse ive heard in a while. Megaman has awesome lyrics. Keep in mind all these songs have good beats. The interlude with Tech N9ne and the one with Busta are both good, even though he shouldn't have a bunch of songs without himself in it haha. President Carter is good with good lyrics, and so is So Special, Two Shots, I like the view. The Album wasn't fantastic and im not a lil wayne fanboy, also think the fact it came out a lot earlier then it supposed to was stupid, albums shouldn't slowly get leaked like that looks horrible for the artist. Not a good or bad album, but you cant say lil wayne is a bad lyrically.

i feel like wayne is full of himself. yes hes alright, but i feel like he went overboard when he dissed jay z, in one of his songs on the album. like nigga why diss someone whose fucking x9000 better than u??

Its funny how rappers stay well clear of any associated with eminem or they will get lyrically destroyed. Never really been a fan of wayne might listen to the album but i just get sick of his voice.

For the sake of this debate please quote the lyrics you consider to be good, I've admitted he has some good bars here and there but to be considered a good lyricist you need to be consistent. He claimed to be writing for this album for the past two years on twitter and the result of it is far from anything amazing.

Over the years lil wayne has proved himself as a very talented musician and I never said this album was good, I honestly don't even think it is and am already tired of seeing it all over facebook/youtube etc. But lil wayne has good fucking lyrics, here are some from certain songs on the Carter 4.

Abortion - The whole verse is really fucking good, top to bottom lol. Lil wayne isn't the fast upspeed rapper whos gonna drop huge bars, hes known for assembling good songs with good hooks, lyrics, and beats, not dropping crazy bars. Abortion has 2 good verses (1,2) and a good beat with a catchy hook.

Blunt Blowin - Same thing as Abortion, good song good beat good hook and multiple good verses.

How To Love/How To Hate both suck

Are you trying to say every rapper that's famous must be lyrically talented? Take a look at Soulja Boi or whatever is fruity name is, some clowns actually consider him to be the best rapper at this moment in time. Tell me he's lyrically talented.

Tbh only listened to him in the "Go DJ" days, like 3 songs or w/e.
