Mr-G-Maul Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Will be an explosive fight i hope but yet again mayweather wont attack and will just wait for ortiz to come at him but i hope ortiz beats the odds again.
Adam|Note Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Intentional cheap headbut, should have had point deducted. Mayweather knocking out Ortiz when the bell hadn't been rang should have been DQ'd.

Mayweather has taken out everyone from del a hoya to mosley not gonna hate on that and is still unbeaten says something about him he backs up what he says. Agree with one thing he made excuses not to fight pacquiao but it will happen in the near time future fans wants to see so....
Mr-G-Maul Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 It was terrible should be a rematch if it happened to mayweather he would of went wild roger would of been in fight ortiz aswell. A terrible way to win a fight should be ruled a no contest fair enough a point deducted for headbutting but there was no need to throw a sly punch like that especially before the both of them were ready.
Smush Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Mayweather's dirty, wants to keep his record nice and clean. I still hope for a Mayweather - Pacquiao 2012 match.
ph0ne Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I still hope for a Mayweather - Pacquiao 2012 match. ohfuckyeah.
Flex Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 am a pac man fan, but mayweather holds a valid point pacquiao fought his leftovers mayweather fought hatton when he was unbeaten, pacquiao fights him after he becomes a wash up same with del a hoya, mosley, list goes on and the pac man decides to fight him when mayweathers hitting 34 why didn't he fight him in his 20s tbh its suspicious, real talk am a big pacquiao fan and he can fight and his entertaining to watch, but i reckon mayweather will take him will be good fight but the tactician will always come on top, but who knows they might not even get to fight, amir khan wants mayweather HA!

Not even. Mayweather may have beaten the Golden Boy, Mosley, and Hatton, but Pacquiao beat them decisively. Pacquiao is turning 33 in December, so age isn't even a problem because when Pacquiao was in his 20s, he still hadn't made a name for himself. Mayweather should take the fight and stop babying around because Pacquiao and his camp agreed to all the drug tests, but Mayweather is still looking for excuses.

The only reason people hating on mayweather because people think his arrogant but he only backs up what he says and has proven it ( 42-0), the ortiz fight, mayweather took it to him he hit him but ortiz should of been smart enough to know when you touch gloves your guard should be up, but he was playing kisses with mayweather but mayweather got on with it and court him and ortiz payed the price it happens its boxing.
Smush Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 It's still a dirty sucker punch. I have a feeling you're not really a Pacquiao fan. While that punch may have been legal, everyone said it was dirty. And you can't be in your prime and then all of a sudden lose it all in a year. You can't call them wash ups, you only call them wash ups because you know NOTHING about boxing. Pacquiao fought all his opponents in less than a year or two and beat them DECISIVELY. A unanimous decision isn't a decisive victory in comparison to the knockout of Ricky Hatton. Do you even watch boxing? Do you even know Margarito or Cotto? You're a joke bro.

Retard Margrito got caught cheating, cotto lol he lost alot of fights before he even fought pacquiao, you say it was legal but then you call the punch dirty don't make sense and mayweather fought hatton when he was undefeated which i clearly stated before, like i said mayweather is a tactician, dont make you a better fight if you knock some out in boxing its all about winning, now i guess you don't understand boxing as you bring margarito when he in fact was a dirty fighter, back to the drawing board for you. So make sure you come up with a better argument.
Mr-G-Maul Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Mayweather struggled against a 34 yeard old passed it de la hoya hardly in his prime, an old shane mosley, ricky hatton who doesnt have a defence and fought no one big or who were passed it and a slow marquez. Mayweather is an amazing fighter but still think manny will do him maybe martinez aswell if maywetaher was around when the fabulous four were he would of been knocked out cold.

So make sure you come up with a better argument. You clearly don't know anything about Miguel Cotto because you said he "lost a lot of fights before he fought pacquiao" BRO, Miguel Cotto is 36-2. He had ONE loss from the cheating Margarito before he lost to Pacquiao. I'm starting to have the feeling you don't watch boxing at all lol. And yes, you are a better fighter if you can knock your opponent out in less time. Who do you think had the more impressive performance? Mayweather vs Hatton 10th round tko Pacquiao vs Hatton 2nd round KO. Ahh, you probably didn't even watch either fights, cause it seems you don't have the slightest clue about boxing.

Yeah you do realise that it was the 4th round? ortiz doesnt slow down did tyson look like he was in trouble when he got beat my buster douglas? no if it went 11 rounds and it happened i would agree there shouldnt be a rematch but the fact both of them were still warming up.

I don't think you got my point at all. My point was you can land a shitload more punches but if there isn't as much power as your opponents behind them it doesn't count for shit. I used Calzaghes pitter patter punching as an example of it.
Mr-G-Maul Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I understand what you mean now :) but still it was very early in the fight anything can happen see if there is an actual rematch :)
