TJ Posted September 19, 2011 Author Posted September 19, 2011 can i get a re-ban on this kid Taking that as a joke
Marc|Criti Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 "Experience Zero Gravity" where's the fucking zero gravity?
I Turmoil I Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 That looks good, But I don't think I could Jump off a Cliff / Mountain.. Even if they re-assured me it would be fine..
Adam|Note Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 "Experience Zero Gravity" where's the fucking zero gravity? Haha that's exactly what I was thinking, if there were 0 gravity they wouldn't be falling at high speeds XD
Octavarium Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 "Experience Zero Gravity" where's the fucking zero gravity? Haha that's exactly what I was thinking, if there were 0 gravity they wouldn't be falling at high speeds XD 0 gravity now means 9.8N/kg. Fact of the day.
Tango_Oscar Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 By using a simple equation it shows the gravitational field strength is much less than the standard 9.81 at sea level. This is still not zero gravity. Infact there is no such thing as zero gravity, because as gravity wells show, everything has a gravitational effect on everything else, just not large enough to matter.
Adam|Note Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 This thread is now about physics. GO Troll phsyics dump incoming:
Marc|Criti Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 By using a simple equation it shows the gravitational field strength is much less than the standard 9.81 at sea level. gravitational field strength on earth depends on how far you are from the center of *the earth* we use 9.81 because we do so many more approximations in numerical applications that it doesn't really matter, or we just use the exact distance to the center of the earth using that simple equation you mention (newton) "at sea level", the gravitational field strength isn't "much less" than 9.81, unless you think 0.02 is huge or something but since you like being precise, you forgot to mention that the distance from the center of the earth to sea level isn't the same at all everywhere... and the difference in the gravitational field strength is HUGEEEEEEEE and This is still not zero gravity. Infact there is no such thing as zero gravity, because as gravity wells show, everything has a gravitational effect on everything else, just not large enough to matter. duh.

DeltaPapa Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 would love to try out a squirrel outfit or whatever they are called.
