Little Guy Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I've been eating 6 small meals in the past years but honestly I feel much better wtih 3 big meals than with 6 small meals. Apparently more often small meals increase your metabolism but I've been researching and it's apparently not true. What am I missing?
Kody Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 what sources are you using to research this? 6 small nuitrious meals are better for you than 3 large meals. honestly though do whatever works for you. chances are you aren't aiming to become a professional body builder and if your happy with yourself at the moment then stick with your 3 meals.

Google and no, I don't want to be a professional bodybuilder, I train to improve my athletic performance but in what way is it better?
Reevesy Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 ur body will take what it needs from the food then produce the rest as waste and fat. go figure
Tris Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 As long as you hit your macros it doesn't matter. However trying to bulk on 3 meals a day with little snacks in between would be very hard... At least for me.

Steroids Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 theres many people in favour and against that think its all about hitting macro's and nothing to do with the time frame, idk what to believe and i assume that it doesn't matter. if you hate doing 5-6 so much how about just do 3 and then ur postworkout meal?

That's pretty much what I do. I don't count post-workout meal as meal so yea lol.
Little Guy Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 I dont know how people jam all their daily calories into just 3 meals, thats like impossible for me. I cut it all down to 7 meals and still get full. But maybe the people eating 3 dont count the calories, im the only faggot that does Not that hard but it all comes down to habbit. If you're not used to eating 3 meals you won't be able to eat alot at once.
