Gareth l Rare Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I actually understood it. (wont lie i did get baffled at them becoming waves but it made me more intrigued tbh) I love shit like this, used to be a A student in science until i got kicked out for...well lets not go there But this is the shit that makes me wana get out of bed in the morning. Matter isnt a physicle form, it has manny as its made up of millions of atoms. (correct me if im wrong) As a result it can partake in different forms depicting on the circumstance curroundings. (if im correct) then again been 8years since i had an official science lession so....
Gareth l Rare Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 until i got kicked out for...well lets not go there actually lets go there. Story time? Rather not, my past is my past and i like to keep it that way unless friends who i trust ask..... Just say south east london public school which half of Eagles field went too after it got shut down =
Marc|Criti Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 yep studied this last year... didn't see it as a mindfuck though
Soap Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Pretty baffling, did standard grade physics (GCSE for englanders) Wouldn't like to really study this even though it looks pretty interesting.
Toby|Doggie Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 HMM YES LYK THE OTHA PPL ON THS THRED I AM ALSO A MASTER OF PHSYIC. I ACTUAL CREATE THIS FORMULA SO IT DO NOT RLY PHASE ME I ALSO STUDY PHYSIC WHEN I WERE 11

This is an experiment examining behavior on the quantum level; meaning that individual particles are being observed, not millions of atoms. This experiment shows that subatomic particles can behave as both particles and waves of potential simultaneously. However, to observe these particles, we usually bombard them with photons (light). These photons interfere with the observed particles, causing their trajectory to mimic particles rather than waves. It is very strange.

Yet still amazing (thanks for the classification but after showing it to a friend i understood much more so you just filled in the blanks with the photons) Since people like this kind of stuff i may look into making a thread for mindfuck experiments, seen a lot on youtube and they just make me want to learn about it more indepth.
MikeQ Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 We had a few discussions going in the debate section about similar topics. It's hard to keep it going for more than a page before the trolls devour it, though. Here is an excellent series on quantum mechanics given by a professor at Standford, if you are interested in learning this on a high level.
I Meleed I Posted October 28, 2011 Author Posted October 28, 2011 hello there jimmy! haven't heard from you for ages, what's new?
ph0ne Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 physics. it's MIND BLOWING! octavarium. just ASTONISHING!
MikeQ Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 hello there jimmy! haven't heard from you for ages, what's new? Just busy with school and work, man. It's pretty hectic right now. I check the forums as a way to procrastinate haha
