Obby Maulers

okay so like, if i were to make an obby mauler what would be the main like things i need to keep in mind, do i need thing to be certain lvls and stuff? could you guys explain to me what is "needed" on an obby mauler, first time trying one out...  :embarrased:

Start off by getting 40 mage, go do some stealing creation till you've got some sacred clay staffs to train to 60 str with, once youre 60 str, get 40 range, and then you'll be 32 cb, 60 str, 40 range, 40 mage, which you could pk with i guess..

I would suggest getting 13 prayer as it's only 1-2 combats, and with such a slow/powerful weapon it increases your damage by a few :P

Uhh, i think the highest a maxed obby pure can get is 68 range, but u dont wanna get that straight away, cause it'll go up quicker from pking the sooner you get it, hmm i think sacred clay is better than slayer staff tbh, it has 50 str bonus, about the same speed as a scim.. slayer staff has 35 and is the speed of a whip maybe? but while the sacred clay staff has charge, you get 8exp per damage instead of 4.

U can only get 25 points per game even if you get more score than is required for 25 points, bit gay rly, each game is 20 minutes, and staffs r 26 points each. so 40 minutes and then ull be 1 point short of buying 2 =/

Staff charge doesnt last that long, at 60 str it lasts for approximately 40k exp.. but after it's ran out, tbh it's still better for training with than the maul, and about the same as slayer staff

Don't go making no gay obby maulers names.... because then you can always hybrid if you need to...

Obby maulers are really hard too do, they take quite a lot of patience, With all the tank obby maulers it'll be pretty hard anyways. But goodluck

Mith gloves are a big advantage, depending on your finances stay 1 or 20 attack and corrupt pk or normal obby.

my guy was 1 att 65 str one everything else and i only pked with maul. i ALWAYS got kills, but when i fought range maulers, they were pretty damn beast.

When I was an obby mauler I got my mage and range up to 60 doing slayer tasks for the slayer staff. Then just no lifed strength at rock crabs mainly. You also need to decide wether to get 31 prayer or stay 1 prayer it'll effect your cb by 5 levels if you don't use soul wars.

I ended up 1 att, 99str, 31 prayer, 57 cb.
