Editing test.

Ok i saw a topic that Tj made about how editing is slowly dying out in PK vids, i was bored and decided to edit some shitty clips i had and come up with this. Baring in mind im asking for constructive criticism on the editing not the pk clips. This sort of edit was ment to be a sort of trailer type but i've come up with a plan for when i start releasing vids in the future on how my vids will turn out editing wise and clip wise  :whistle:

No its not finished as there are a few more syncs after the last bit but i just cut it off because im tired. 720p please  <3

I assume your using vegas, if so its wayyy to dark for too long.

black>fade to vid should only be 5seconds max or you loose your audiences attention.

Id say put a copy of the video layers on top (render the whole vid without effects then put ontop to save time)

then set it to 75% and earase cirtain bits were you want to create dramatic tention.

Yeah im using vegas, will eventually use after effects, teaching myself how to use the plugins atm so in time i'll leave vegas :). I left the whole vid dark because i wanted to give it that dramatic effect, i wouldnt leave a whole vid like that no way. Thanks for the CC, taken into consideration ;D

On your track, right click the clip and go to properties and uncheck the box that says "Maintain aspect Ratio" so the clip fits the whole screen and you don't have black sidebars. Also Files -> Properties -> HDV 720 - 30p.
