Beats by dre are supposed to be top of the line. For my birthday yesterday I got some ableplanet linx audio noise cancelling headphones.. Never heard of them and don't know what they cost, but they definitely help tune out real life so we can commit our lives to runescape better.

Yeah i'm not sure about Beats, i've heard good things, and bad things too :S a lot of people say the quality isn't even that good and you're just paying for the endorsement, dunno what to think.

Beats are really good for very deep basses. So if you still listen to dubstep, they would be very good for you. if you listen to rock/alternative stuff, beats are not the best.

$50 will get me a pair that breaks after a couple of months and isn't AMAZING sound quality :/ i've had plenty of good quality ones, they do the job, but they're nothing special, and they also break easily, i'm looking into sennheiser HD25 1 II's atm, heard a lot about them.

I have beats. They suck. First pair I got I had to return because the right ear was quieter. Second pair the plate is coming off on the left one. And the quality isnt that good.

I got my solo beats for $79, they're amazing for the price.

There's better headphones out there, but they're expensive as fuck.

If you're goin for looks, get some Beats Studios $300, they are the only ones worth it. Don't fuck wit the headphones or the Solos, they BREAK easily and aren't that great.

If you're goin for the best sound overall go for somethin like Sony.
