Tom (Rendition) Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I noticed that my agility and the speed of my hands isn't what it used to be. What can I do to improve that?
Reevesy Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 finger ur bumhole whilst sewing on a machine at full pace... wtf u want 'agile fingers' for?

Tom (Rendition) Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 I don't know everyone got fast fingers from. Fast hands, like quick punching speed.
ph0ne Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I don't know everyone got fast fingers from. Fast hands, like quick punching speed. Depends on what kind of punching you're looking for; footwork and backwork is really important, whenever you hit for a jab, if you're southpaw you're making a Z shape with your left leg, while the right is str8 forward, for power punching footwork + backwork just takes long to get used to it, its more about theory then muscles, hard to be quite fast you're bulky
Reevesy Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 you need to practise punching fast that is all. use a speed bag
Walli Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 its simple. when fighters and boxers work out they lift differently and work out differently than some1 who wants to be big / ripped. the way you have been working out has formed muscle on your arms, back which is not ideal for fighting and boxing. that will not help you in any way or give you answers but might help you to know what you are looking for on sites or places which will give better more detailed answers.

That And if you want to improve it just do some finger excercise whit your girlfriend
Steroids Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 ilike it when martial art experts r like, "haha u bodybuild but r shit fighter, you may be strong but makes no difference if u cant fight!" then i wonder whay they say after a bodybuilder connects one punch onto them.

Lol, an 80kg boxer could hit harder than a 100kg bodybuilder. I'd much rather get hit by a 100kg bodybuilder. I knooooow that they lift differently walli, I'm just wondering what specific exercises they do. And i disagree, back is very important to punching power. And yep reevesy, that's the obvious one which i will be doing, wanted to know what else I can do. And ph0ne, I think my punching technique is good, although I'd like to train with some boxers for sure as the gym I train at is more ground game based.
