Not bad, but photoshop is near enough obselete for airbrushing IMO as you can use filters to do it in mins in adobe lightroom i believe its called?

CC

The green eyes clash as they look too obz shopped.

The nose outline is gone, maybe you overlayed instead of using using tools

Use Burn and dodge tool to darken and create depth in the hairline/ facial features and brighten up the cheek bones

using overlay/contrast correct is lazy.

not sure if you tried to add rouge to the cheeks or if it was there from before?

If you did then not bad.

Keep it up man

haha cheers Gareth, I had no clue about photoshop being obsolete now!

yeah i agree with the eyes, the right one in particular is fucked, i was trying to work

on it for ages >.<

I did try to use doge/burn on the hair, but i just made it look awful :L & yh basically did

the face by painting over it in the toolpicker colours and blurred it out, probably where

it lost the nose line and the slightly blushing cheeks, although i did try to perk up the cheeks

and lips on purpose.

-Cheers, might do some more now :D

EDIT: Yh I just closely looked at her eyes, makes her look like David Bowie

not "obselete" thats just my oppinion as u can do 10min work worth in lightroom in 30seconds if you have the presets and plug'ins all saved

Start by using the clone stamp or content aware fill to fix obvious blemishes, just don't go overboard to the point that it looks fake.

If it's grainy have a go at dust and scratches, reduce noise, and smart blur. Smart blur really helps to remove grain but maintain edge integrity.

Also once you've got an ok image try duplicating it and going filter > other > high pass ( i think it's in other). Then play with the radius of that layer, blend modes, and opacity.

finish off with colour correction.

something along these steps usually end up in the perfect photo retouch for me.

Oh also i find re-colouring the eyes helps alot, but make sure you don't over do it or it looks entirely retarded. just a tiny contrast/colour boost.
