Bullet Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Modern communication is all about social networking, just how it is.

Jonny Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 only put pictures or status' that you wouldn't mind your school reading/viewing - let alone potential strangers dont forget its not just my school. its like hanging it out infront of a hockey/soccer stadium or putting it downtown all around so almost EVERYONE can see it
Rick Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 problem is OTHERS can post on YOUR page so they could also make you look bad or good in any way. Sites like Facebook MySpace Twitter and stuff gives others the opportunity to ruin your reputation, it's always on sites like fb the person that posts on your page can make and/or break you, what you post about yourself isn't really relevant to people you want to work at and stuff. That also brings along people want to act though and start arguements on facebook and stuff with people they don't even dislike, but just to act though to their friends, who will also read the same shit on facebook. To me, such sites became big because of all the kids that are insecure and want others to tell them how great and good they are, and if virtual accounts told them they look good on a picture they would tell them they also look good, fkin reasonless. and that person would then look really popular to her/his other friends, cause they have people saying they look good on a picture!! Here in the Netherlands we had a site which is similar to fb but called hyves, 70% of kids would put a picture on their hyves, with title: 'Reaction = Reaction' Â i.e they want people to make them look cool on internet, and in return they will make others look cool!!!! omfg that must be the best way to use your time. my opinion soz if I didn't come over as clearly as I wanted!
Pieter Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 left is assange right is zuckerberg (founder of facebook)

No I totally know what you mean. There are people who are really agressive and unhappy but pretend to be real chilled and happy on the internet, via posts and pictures. Many of those people worldwide gave facebook the chance to rise. People like other peoples pictures so their own pictures get liked by the people their pictures they liked. Lol I cant express myself. Also Facebook is used for solving conflicts, problems and things you rather not solve eye to eye or via phone. Such as telling some1 about your crush or such things
Rick Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 But if I am going to have the chance to use such people for my own fame/money, like Zuckerberg did, I wouldn't hesitate. Even though facebook and stuff ruined some people their career e.g. children who facebook 24/7.
Jon Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 She'll re-make one but I don't mind it. Keeps me in touch with friends that I don't talk to day to day.
Tom (Rendition) Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I hate alot about facebook, but I'll keep using it so that I can see gwaanin.
Marc|Criti Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 i enter as little real information as possible whenever i'm on a networking website, so i don't really care. facebook has become a must if you don't want to be socially dead, and i find it pretty sad.

Scotty|w0rst Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Yes facebook sucks which it can provide companies with a lot of information about you but a lot of job opportunities are created from networking and the best way to stay in touch with people is social networks. For me in college, you never know who will be the guy who gets the big corporate job. So I just post around here and there keep in touch with people. Once I am out of college, I am expecting to be staying in contact with friends and even teachers who could present me with opportunities. That is why I stick around FB and Twitter. I like twitter better. A lot less personal info on there but still communicate with people. Positive and negative.

If it wasn't for business opportunities that could arise, a lot of idiots would get deleted.
Jonny Posted December 19, 2011 Author Posted December 19, 2011 Stupidity Explains everything. Very produktive contribution
Jonny Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 they are developing this thing for tags. It scans the picture uploaded and can see who is on it and taggs you. Kind of scarry. Example: I am hired at place A but am not happy there. I meet with the boss of place B just to inform myself about the job. Random Guy takes a picture in the restaurant of his family. In the background you can see me talking with the boss of the competetion. I get tagged automatically. Dang I get fired. My father showed me how easy it is to access information from peoples profiles without even being friends with them. Kinda scary dont you think so?
