Suarez Banned for 8 matches

Wow, Suarez has been banned for 8 matches for racially abusing Patrice Evra. Wonder how this will effect Liverpool's season after he has been pretty much at the centre of all that has been good about them. Also this means that Andy Carroll will be likely to start all of them games.

Since Suarez joined liverpool he's been pretty prolific as a striker and playmaker; in 33 appearances he's scored 12 goals and has 11 assists, comparing that with Andy Carroll who's had 25 appearances 5 goals and 0 assists, albeit he has come of the bench for the majority of his games.

He has 14 days to appeal and if that is unsuccessful he will have to serve the 8 match ban.

Ha I don't know if it starts yet, on the article it says he has 14 days to appeal and the ban won't start before that, I looked at the fixtures and from what I saw the first game he'll miss is Man City :p
