I've heard good things from Camtasia, but I just naturally enjoy the layout of HyperCam. I've tried Camtasia before, but found Hypercam to just be a lot easier to use.

My computer was full with spyware from HyperCam 2 so I wouldn't recommend it at all. I tried Camtasia and it was nice but I lagged quite a bit.

How do you do that?

Right click on your desktop. Click personalize. Then click theme. Click on the drop-down box and change it from "Modified Theme" or "Windows Vista" to "Windows Classic". Voila! No lag.
